On PE days, children come to school wearing their PE kit. For indoor activities, children must wear a white t-shirt and royal blue shorts, and for outdoor activities they will need warm PE clothes in the form of a black tracksuit. No sports wear or football tops. Indoor PE is done in bare feet or pumps but trainers are needed for outdoor PE.
Please put your child's name on everything brought to school.
"Jewellery should not be worn in Physical Education lessons because of the dangers inherent in such terms when engaged in physical activities". This advice is from the British Association of Advisers and Lecturers in Physical Education; accordingly, the School insists that all earrings and jewellery are removed for PE lessons. Children will not be permitted to take part in PE lessons while wearing jewellery.
The same dangers are present whenever children are together and some jewellery can cause serious injury. The wearing of jewellery at school is therefore not allowed because of the danger. Children are permitted to wear one pair of stud earrings.
Our children look smart in their uniform. It gives us all a sense of belonging and working together.
Please feel free to buy the uniform basics wherever you can get them.
